Mini-crossword Puzzles
Mini-crossword puzzles are small grids, usually with easy clues. The New York Times features a daily game. The online version has a nice, interactive layout.
I really enjoy creating these 5x5 puzzles. My favorite part is coming up with clues. I try not to make them too easy! The hard part is finding ten words to coexist in harmony on that cramped grid. Luckily, I have software for that! I want to make themed puzzles, but that may be asking for too much. So, for now, I just crank out random puzzles.

Have fun!
Progress Report
Mind-bending Variety Puzzles Volume 3 has been collecting dust, while I struggle to market the first two. I have a bunch of puzzles so far, but no real theme. The lack of a theme prevents me from going full speed ahead. I may have painted myself into a corner with this differentiation feature (Secret puzzle / Treasure hunt were the themes of volumes one and two, respectively.) Still, I'm stubborn, even if I decide this will be the final book in the series.
Whether Volume 3 is the last one in the series or not, my next book will begin an entirely new series. I need a break from building variety puzzles. Stay tuned!
If you haven't yet left a review for the puzzle books, I would be thrilled if you did so. The following links take you straight to the review page. Thanks!
